Queens rule but Countesses count

Queen Elizabeth I, Queen Victoria, Catherine the Great, Boudicca. The names of Queens and Empresses through the ages are familiar to us all. They live on in our stories and art, but when it comes down to it do they really matter? Do they really count? There's certainly one group of people who think that when push comes to shove Queens rule, but Countesses count.

Countess Elizabeth Bathory de Ecsed. Caterina Sforza, Countess of Forli. Bess of Hardwick, Countess of Shrewsbury. Margaret Douglas, Countess of Lennox. Jeanne de Valois-Saint-Remy, Comtesse de la Motte (allegedly). The names may not be as familiar, but they like it that way. While the Dead Queens are off pretending to solve crimes the Dead Countess Collective is looking after the people that really matter (ie: Countesses). This is just one of their stories.

The Dead Countess Collective is the first spin-off title from The Dead Queen Detectives. An All Ages story that takes you on a high octane ride through a modern take on the classic heist story.... or possibly just an excuse for some very silly jokes and ridiculously large dresses. Or maybe it's both, you decide (it's mostly the latter though).

Black and white with a colour cover. 36 pages. Written, drawn and lettered by Bevis Musson with cover colours by N.L. Ashworth. PDF digital copy only
